Crystalite
I was approached by Sandra Cooper, who was building a new company that was going to sell crystals and salt lamps both online and offline. It was my job to build an online shop for Crystalite and to promote their website online.
The solution I used for this site is EKM Powershop, as they offered everything I needed at the time, including an online payment gateway and theming system for £20 p/m. However I would always suggest using open source solutions and either paying for a gateway seperatly (such as SagePay) or PayPal.
The site was developed a number of years ago and has made large amounts of net income per year. I used the following to develop this site:
